Your local guide to all things sustainable…

What is Sustainability?

At S3R we like the definition from the Environmental Protection Agency, which is:

“Sustainability is based on a simple principle: Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment.”

Food Waste Awareness

Cut Costs & Reduce Climate Impact

With bills soaring, we’re all looking for ways to save money. Reducing food waste is one good way to start - and you will be doing the planet a favour too.

You may be surprised to learn that the average family could save up to £700 per year by cutting the amount of food they waste. At the moment one third of all food is wasted - that’s enough to feed everyone on the planet!

Our planet has limited natural resources, which we are currently using at an unsustainable rate. If everyone on the planet lived and consumed as we do in the UK, we would need 2.8 Earths. We are living beyond what is sustainable for our earth to cope with!

Let’s work together to cut food waste now! Click the link to see how you can make a few small changes that will make a big difference.
