Sustainable Three Rivers has numerous opportunities for young people working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

From social media to helping in the Community Garden or on our market stall, there’s something for everyone. We encourage parents to get involved too!

Volunteering Case Study

We were delighted to welcome Elise Mosely, who joined us as she worked towards her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Elise, was joined by her mum Anne, and they have contributed significantly to our community. They helped decorate the tree at St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival, took part in the November Market, and even helped in the Community Garden on a rainy Sunday morning. Their commitment and enthusiasm really captured what the DofE Award is all about.

Elise has also compiled a thoughtful list of hints and tips for making Christmas a bit greener. This is a wonderful resource that we hope will inspire everyone to act more sustainably during the festive season.
