How to Take Cuttings Easily & Successfully

Free Workshop - Sunday 7th June 2026

Cuttings are a great way to save money on your gardening and get more plants for free!

Not sure where to start? Come along to our workshop!

Lynda, a very experienced gardener, will take you through the steps to success. You will learn about the common mistakes to avoid and and have an opportunity to get hands-on taking your own cutting, which you'll be able to take home for free.

Come and join us at Rickmansworth Community Garden on Sunday 7th June from 11am to 12pm.

This workshop is part of our celebrations for Great Big Green Week 2026. It is free of charge, but please book your place as our garden-based workshops always prove popular.

Why do I need to book? It helps us a lot if we know how many people are coming so that we have enough materials for everyone.

How long does the session last? The workshop will last about an hour, from 11am - 12pm.

Is there any charge? This session is free of charge, but we always welcome donations towards our costs. Thank you in advance.

Where is the workshop being held? The session will take place in Rickmansworth Community Garden, behind the Rose Garden in Ricky town centre.

What happens if it rains? We will go ahead anyway and will provide cover.
